FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes, the event is only for people aged 18 and over. Please make sure to bring your ID if you look under 25, as we will be operating a Challenge 25 policy.

Are dogs allowed at The Gin Fests?

Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, we cannot allow any animals. Exceptions will be made for guide dogs, hearing dogs, and other support animals.

Will there be any seating?

Standard tickets are standing tickets. However, there will be a very limited number of seats provided during the event. Everybody is allowed to bring their own folding chairs.

Do I have to print my ticket?

Tickets will be scanned at the gates when you arrive at the event. You can use e-tickets or a printed copy.

Can I bring alcohol?

Our festival has a mouth-watering selection of independent brands – so please don't bring any alcohol. Please keep your drinks safe at home, away from our amnesty bin.

Can I bring water?

A free drinking tap is provided on-site for you to fill your empty reusable bottle, as well as many stalls selling water. Just bring an empty (non-glass) bottle and re-fill from the tap as much as you want!

At the Kent Gin Fest, there will be no onsite and no drinking water available from a tap. We will provide jugs of water at the main/VIP bar.

Can I bring food?

We have a wide range of artisan independent food vendors - all tastes are covered! External food will have to keep external alcohol company in the amnesty bin.

Is this event wheelchair accessible?

Yes - but please be aware that this is an outdoor event taking place on a field (the ground may be bumpy and sloped in areas).

What types of payment do you accept?

You can pay using cash or card.

Is there cover?

We have a communal marquee, a VIP marquee and a covered Table Talk Tent but space is limited! Please remember to bring sun cream, hats, sunnies and any other necessary cover to stay protected from the sun.

Are there toilets?

We have plenty of toilets located at the festival, plus some very exciting posh ones for Premium VIP Ticket holders.

Do you have security at this event?

For your safety and security we employ professional security personnel during the event and they will be carrying out bag searches on entry.

Can I leave my car overnight, after the festival?

You can only park your car, inside of the festival hours. We don’t allow the car to be left overnight and we don’t take any responsibility for it.

Can I leave the festival site and come back?

There will be no re-entry once you leave the festival site.

I’m thinking of buying a bottle (or two) of gin at the festival, can I drink it whilst I’m there?

We will have plenty of distillers selling sealed bottles of alcohol, and although we understand it’s tempting to open your bottles straight away, by law these must not be opened or consumed until you’ve left the festival. If you buy any bottles whilst your there, they’ll be kept back for you. Please collect your purchases from where you bought them from when you leave the festival. If we spot anyone opening or consuming a bottle they’ve bought at the festival, it will be confiscated and you may be asked to leave.

Please drink responsibly. www.drinkaware.co.uk
