Sussex Gin Fest Returns To Borde Hill for 2023!

A massive thank you to everyone who came to Sussex Gin Fest and helped make it such a wonderful day!

This year, new for 2023, we introduced a Festival Market and many other new zones and ideas. We loved seeing you all visit our local stalls to get gifts for loved ones, from handmade jewellery to unique garnishes for your Gin and Tonics at home. There was a selection of gifts for everyone. We also included many local gin distillers in our Festival Market who sold their beautiful bottles and gave out tasters for our lovely guests.

Our food court saw a superb selection of international food stalls, including Greek gyros, fantastic pizza cooked right in front of you and many sweet treats for our customers to enjoy.

The food options didn’t stop there as we introduced our new Feasting Village with Table Talk Foundation. Table Talk is a charity that helps improve food education in local areas. Their Table Talk Tent hosted an array of celebrity chefs, including Avinash Shashidhara, Steven Edwards and Julien Plumart, who have all been successful in various TV shows in the last couple of years. Matt Gillan also hosted a marvellous Banquet with three courses of delicious food with wine pairings.

We introduced many new bars for 2023, including a Pimms bar, Cocktail Garden and Vermouth Tipi, joining our old favourites: The Big Bar and Gins of the World. We were thrilled to see you all soaking up the atmosphere in our new Curious Beer Garden. Our Gin Boulevard was also very busy throughout the event day, showcasing a diverse selection of small batch gin.

Our live music schedule started with swing sensation Liam Joseph who brought a lovely vibe as you entered the festival grounds, looked around and got your first drink. Our talented group of Sussex Superstars followed Liam. Next up was the fabulous Carlene Graham, who brought her powerhouse vocals to Sussex Gin Fest, getting everyone in the mood for a party. Jordan Langford followed with his amazing voice, the perfect warm-up to our headliner.

Our much-anticipated headliner was the incredible Symphonic Ibiza. Their full orchestra and Ibiza party anthems stole the show. We loved seeing a packed crowd singing and dancing at Sussex Gin Fest.

We can’t wait to see you all again next year!
